The trusting relationship between doctor and patient is the real secret ingredient for a successful treatment that lasts up to 1-1.5 years. With careful planning, we do everything we can to achieve the most effective change in the shortest possible time.
Regular check-ups during orthodontic treatment are called activation. More specifically, the periodic replacement of the active elements of the braces or changing the elements that can be activated. Adult orthodontics can be done in a number of ways.
For fixed braces, we activate when:
- Your metal arch is replaced or bent.
- We put on grasshoppers or kobayashi.
- We hang a rubber chain.
- We move your breketted.
- We will attach a push spring to your arch.
- We provide elastic rubber of the appropriate strength.
Removable- when activating transparent braces:
- Check the exact fit of the current prefabricated rails.
- Attachments are glued.
Regular check-ups (every 4-6 weeks) are essential for successful orthodontic treatment. It is important to see if the tooth movement we have planned is going well, if the device is still exerting force (active or not), if it needs to be replaced or changed.
