About the transformation
Kira, who is now 12, is a real chatterbox and a little girl bursting with energy – we always looked forward to her visits to the surgery! ❤️
When she first came to see us at the age of 9, her upper teeth were positioned well too far forward (she had a 10 mm overbite), which was accompanied by a deep bite, as well as swallowing and lip habits. As she was still growing, we made the most of this perfect window of opportunity using Invisalign clear aligners: we widened the upper dental arch, adjusted the teeth to a nice angle of inclination, and gently guided the growth of the lower jaw forwards.
In our experience, children are exemplary in their cooperation during orthodontic treatment: Kira, too, wore her weekly-change, clear aligners diligently, so the treatment achieved the desired result comfortably yet extremely quickly.
