Just as no engineer would start building a house without structural plans, it would be irresponsible to start „blind” in modern orthodontics. Behind the spectacular congestion, there may be processes and anatomical formations in the bone that are impossible to detect with the naked eye.

We are proud that our practice is the latest digital imaging technology we are working on. With our own CBCT (3D X-ray) equipment, diagnostics are not only more accurate, but also faster and more convenient: No need to travel to an external X-ray centre, everything is done on the spot, in minutes.
Why are these tests essential?
1. PANORAMIC X-RAY, the basic „map”
This image shows all teeth and jawbones in a single picture. It helps us to see:
- Hidden in the bone, teeth not erupted.
- A wisdom teeth exact location.
- The condition of the roots and possible hidden inflammations, cysts.
2. TELE X-RAY, harmony of the face
This scan analyses the relative position of the face and jawbones to see whether the problem is caused by the tilt of the teeth or whether the irregularity is caused by a difference in the size of the jawbones.
3. CBCT (3D CT) The „superhero” of orthodontics”
While conventional X-rays give a 2D (flat) image, our our ultra-modern CBCT in three dimensions, millimetres accurately shows your anatomy.
Spatial vision: We can see exactly the relationship between the roots and the bone thickness, so that tooth movement is as safe as possible.
Precision: We can rule out hidden obstacles (e.g. extra teeth in the bone) that could prevent treatment.
Minimum load: The latest generation machine we use has an extremely low radiation exposure and is as safe as a digital X-ray.
