Self-lubrication systems Introducing the In-Ovation family
Active self-ligating braces are always capable of peak performance. These systems are designed for today's modern lifestyles, which is why they are the preferred choice.
Self-ligating systems do not require tires, the self-locking locks built into the brackets secure the wire arches in the most efficient interactive way. They are elegant, easy to clean, save time and a lot of inconvenience for both the practitioner and the patient.
Brackets can be made of metal, porcelain or a combination of metal and porcelain.
Self-ligating braces are a technical innovation that moves teeth with significantly less force than traditional braces. This has several advantages.
Advantages of active self-ligating systems
Working with soft power
Thanks to the smaller forces, circulation around the teeth can remain continuous, even in the capillaries. This reduces the risk of complications.
Shorter treatment time
High-tech soft-force arches, which are part of the system, move the teeth faster so they are aligned sooner or with less adjustment. Treatment time is shortened. Reduced time in the dentist's chair time spent in the dental chair.
Less pain associated
There is less tension compared to traditional braces. Because the brackets are smaller than traditional appliances, the acclimatisation period for braces is much shorter than for traditional braces, usually only 3-5 days. And long-term wear is more comfortable.
More hygienic
Less plaque sticks around the braces, making it easier to keep both the appliance and the teeth clean. This radically reduces the risk of tooth decay.
Without pulling teeth
With these modern appliances, difficult cases can be treated without extraction that could not be treated with traditional braces. This not only makes your smile beautiful, but also improves your facial harmony.
In which cases?
The fixed braces technique is recommended mainly for adults and children who have already had all their primary teeth extracted and only need to correct the position of the teeth. The brackets, small elements of the fixed appliance, have a specific displacement direction encoded into all three dimensions of space. The displacement is achieved by the force transmitted by the arcs captured in the brackets. This mechanics can perform subtle and well-controlled tooth movements. The fixed appliance therefore does not act on the growth of the jawbone, but moves the teeth to their correct position within the arch.
Most dental abnormalities can be effectively treated with their use:
- Deviations associated with tooth distortion
- Malocclusion caused by ectopic teeth (teeth that have erupted outside the gum)
- DEEP BITE
- Slight degree of cross-bite,
dental caries - Open bite
- Gaps between the teeth
- Live bite
