It occurs in both children and adults, along with crowded teeth and halitosis. The good news? It's easy to treat when you're young - but if you put it off, you may need surgery as an adult.<\/p><p>There are two forms: one is the <strong>lateral cross-bite<\/strong>, which is the most common problem. In this case, the upper dental arch is narrow and narrow compared to the lower one. The teeth do not fit together properly, congestion appears and on the sides we see the lower teeth biting outside the upper ones. This phenomenon can appear on one or both sides.<\/p><p>In the other case we are talking about anterior crossbite, also known as <strong>bulldog bite<\/strong>. The front teeth are affected, the lower front teeth bite in front of the upper teeth.
